As a motorcycle rider in Houston, Texas  I am  appalled and outraged by the treatment of  Congressman Al Janklow after he negligently  killed a Randy Scott a 55-year-old grandfather  who was riding his Harley Davidson on his way  home. Ex Congressman Janklow has just shown the  entire population of the United States that a man  who is sworn to uphold the laws of the United  States, Ex Governor, Ex Attorney General and now  Ex Congressman can kill a man on a motorcycle and  get what amounts to as less punishment than some  people get as a punishment for a traffic offense.

Congressman Janklow, the justice system in the  state of South Dakota, the citizens of South  Dakota and every law abiding citizen in the  United States and especially every motorcycle  rider in the country need to look at this loss of  human life at the hands of a powerful political  power in South Dakota and assess this entire  scene. While this man lays in his grave Janklow  has made a mockery of the justice system and  since the state of South Dakota refuses to do  anything about this than the most important  people that South Dakota will ever see need to  speak their peace and make their views known.

In August of 2004 the annual Sturgis Rally is  scheduled to once again be held in the Black  Hills of South Dakota where the state has shown a  motorcycle rider's life is of no value. When this  event is begun Randy Scott will be in his grave  and Al Janklow will be released and doing as he  pleased having finished his simple jail time. The  Sturgis Rally is probably not only the largest  single motorcycle event in the country it is also  most likely the largest single financial event  that the state of South Dakota has ever hosted or  seen. Every motorcycle rider in this country need  to speak their peace, make the impact of this  travesty of justice known and it needs to start  with changing the views of the legal system in  South Dakota.

The annual Black Hills Sturgis rally needs to be  the main focus of this change and needs to be  relocated to a state that is appreciative of the  event and respects motorcyclists lives. South  Dakota has shown the motorcycle riders are  targets for reckless driving politicians  therefore the motorcycle riders need to find a  safer state, a better location and a site that  appreciates their business. The justice system  refuses to correct this matter therefore the  motorcycle enthusiasts of America need to Unite,  Boycott South Dakota and make our economic powers felt. Janklow will pay $ 50.00 per day while he  is in jail for 30 days and he can attend this  event. Randy on the other hand can not. Is a  motorcycle rider, your friend, our brother in  riding replaceable for $ 50.00 per day.

Killed a fellow biker, got a judge to give him a "MONTH" in jail and now the civil penalties have been passed on to us. Read this and DO NOT BOYCOTT STURGIS,  CANCEL IT. My tax dollars will NOT go to pay for Janklow killing Randy Scott.

Taxpayers may pay Janklow civil damages

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Bill Janklow was on duty as South Dakota's congressman when his speeding car collided with a motorcycle last summer, meaning federal taxpayers would pay any civil damages arising from the fatal crash, a prosecutor has concluded. U.S. Attorney Tom Heffelfinger's decision came in connection with a wrongful death lawsuit filed against the former congressman and governor by the motorcyclist's family.
