As an old Vietnam War protestor I am so proud to see this current generation out there standing up for what they believe. I just hope that they understand that the military men and women are not their enemies. They are doing what their superiors have ordered them to do. Some agree with their orders and some do not, but they still do their job. I admire and support them for this just as I did the men who fought in Vietnam.
Some may believe that the symbols on each side here contradict each other. I don't . I believe that you can still fight for peace while supporting those who put their lives on the line for our country, whether or not you believe we should be involved in the conflict.
